Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Stacy Paige and I am running for Romulus City Treasurer. I have been a Romulus resident for 28 years, graduated from Romulus High School and currently work for Romulus Community School District. I am committed to our community and would love the opportunity to serve you as your City Treasurer. 

Over the years, I believe Romulus has grown and become a better place to live and raise a family, as well as a place to invest and grow new business. One of my goals would be to work to maintain as much of that goodness for future families and to help the City Council and management improve the City makeup so that it better serves our community. 

The City of Romulus states the City Treasurer’s responsibilities include “collecting all monies payable to the city, including taxes, permit fees, license fees and program fees. The Treasurer collects all residential and commercial property taxes and distributes them to the State of Michigan, Wayne County, Romulus Community Schools and the City of Romulus.”

I believe this position will also include good management, teamwork and leadership with the staff, as well as good customer service. This is the “lifeblood” of any business. It is imperative that every customer is greeted with a genuine smile, listened to and understood. I will provide customer service that exceeds our customer’s expectations.
